The Klarquist branding project began with an elegant historical typeface originally designed for a printing press. Keeping true to history, we decided to carve and ink the letter-form onto paper. This allowed us to see the subtleties of the letter. Once inked, the image was scanned into the computer and a new custom logotype was born. Each letter was digitally hand-crafted to match the inked print. From there, the rest of the brand was developed.
